Databases for you to use

On this page you can find licensed databases and e-resources that Jamk library has subscribed. Via them you can search e-articles, studies, reports and recommendations. Each database and e-resource has their own search engine.

Most of the content in the databases can also be found via Janet's International Article Search.

Full text and reference database covering business and economics.

CINAHL® Ultimate is the definitive resource for nursing and allied health research, providing full text for more of the most used journals in the CINAHL index than any other database - with no embargo. It covers more than 50 nursing specialties and includes quick lessons, evidence-based care sheets, CEU models and research instruments. Including American Journal of Occupational Therapy. N.B. search Journal by full name.

Journal articles in business and economics, education, library and information management, engineering, applied sciences and technology, among others.

The ERIC database provides extensive access to educational-related literature.

An extensive dictionary of music that covers classical music as well as areas of world music, popular music, jazz and modern music.

Research and industry news relating to all areas of hospitality and tourism, including periodicals, company & country reports, and books.

IEEE publishes leading journals, conference proceedings, transactions, letters, and magazines in electrical engineering, computing, biotechnology, telecommunications, power and energy, and dozens of other technologies.
JBI - The Joanna Briggs Institute EBP Database (Ovid) Linkki avautuu uuteen ikkunaan
An online web-based facility that provides users with resources and tools to search, appraise, summarise, embed, utilise and evaluate.

The MEDLINE database is widely recognized as the premier source for bibliographic and abstract coverage of biomedical literature

Music journals (contains full texts).

ProQuest platform includes: ProQuest Central (42 databases including all major subject areas, such as business, health and medical, social sciences, education, science and technology and humanities), Music Periodicals Database, Ebook Central (e-books) and Publicly Available Content Database.
SAGE Journals Premier Linkki avautuu uuteen ikkunaan
Sage Premier provides full text access to almost 1000 journal titles in the SAGE collection. Subject areas include engineering, health sciences, social sciences, humanities and biomedical sciences. Most of the journals offer access to previous volumes back to 1999.

Statista offers access to more than 1.5 million statistics, forecasts, dossiers, reports and infographics.
