Taylor & Francis eBooks service includes e-books in English from different fields of study. In addition to the e-books purchased individually by the library (Licensed Content), the service provides several thousands of Open Access e-books. You can browse the Open Access e-books via the Browse tab: choose All eBooks and filter the search results with "Open Access".
How to find the e-books?
The link to the service can be found above and also via the A-Z Database List. E-books bought individually by the library can be found via Janet database as well as the service itself.
Usage rights and login info
Available to Jamk students and staff, login with personal Jamk ID (HAKA login).
Number of simultaneous users
The number of simultaneous users for the e-books purchased by the library is unlimited.
Printing
You can print or copy a maximum of 20 % of a DRM protected e-book. The service will give an error message if the limit is up.
Reading the e-book
If you choose Read Online, the e-book is opened to be read in the web browser.
Downloading the e-book
If you choose Download, the e-book will be opened in the web browser after which the e-book or its chapters can be downloaded in PDF or ePub form. Whether the e-book can be downloaded and in what form depends on the e-book in question.
Additional features of the eReader
The use of additional features (notes, bookmarks) requires that a user registers to the e-book service and/or logs in to their own account in the service.
