When you have an idea what you are looking for, try out different search words and their combinations in Janet Finna and other databases. Try different ways to search and see what kind of results do you get. More information on figuring out good search words and how to use them can be found in the Information Seeking Compass sections 3. & 4.
You can use different vocabularies when looking for good search words. You can use keyword search or more focused subject term search. See more information on subject terms and controlled vocabularies (for instance thesauri) in the video below.
